What many people do not know (unless they read our previous post) is that Listocracy was first played in 2003 at Newton North High School in Newton, Massachusetts. Listocracy enjoyed a very nice run there, thanks to the dedication of our fans.
What many MANY people don't know (unless they have some mind-reading device), is that Listocracy is a spin-off of another game that was also played at Newton North called Donut Survivor (don't ask, unless you really want to know). Donut Survivor first started out at Lexington Christian Academy in 2002 and made an absolutely successful run at both schools. Listocracy was a round that was featured as one of the Immunity Challenges for Donut Survivor.
So... we thought it would only be right to start off our run on the Interwebs by introducing this Round Topic:
Television Shows Which Produced A Spin-Off
That's right. The thing about TV is that, especially now, if producers can find another way to make money off of one small, tiny, miniscule thing from one TV show, they will. So we want you to recall TV shows that have had a spin-off (or spin-offs), past or present. For your answer to count, you need to name the "host" show, and not the spin-off itself (though you are more than welcome to write that in for extra credit, which subsequently won't count towards anything), unless the spin-off produced a spin-off (which has happened before).
We are opening up the airwaves to your answers. Remember to submit only ONE answer per 24 hour period. And because this is our premier, we're going to keep this Round Topic "on the air" till Saturday, December 20th at 12:01AM. That should give you more than enough time to come up with some great answers.
Submit your answer to ListocracyBlog@gmail.com, and be sure to put in the subject line the name of this post ("Spinnin' An Origin"). If you have any questions about how to play, read the post "How To Play" or send an email.
Please spread the word about this site to as many people as you can. We don't want to get cancelled (like Joey *shudders*).
