Game 2: "Festive Frenzy": (12/23/08)

The results to the previous round will be posted soon. In the meantime, we're happy to present a new round. Here we go...

The December holiday season is in full swing. People are doing their last minute shopping, and it's quite fun to watch them scramble around, trying to find the most perfect gift for that special someone (for under $20).

When you sit down and think about it, there are many holidays that occur during the year. Each one has its own special theme. But when you boil them all down, most holidays are pretty much the same. Now, before the Almighty Force From Above smites us down, let's reveal the Round Topic for this week:

Holidays That Can Occur On A Different Date Each Calendar Year

Christmas, for example, falls on December 25 every year without fail (except when the country is in a financial crisis). Easter, however, falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon on or after March 21. So "Easter" would be an acceptable answer, except it's not anymore cause we just gave it.

We're looking for holidays that are widely known and celebrated. So you need to defend your answer no matter which holiday you give. We are the Judge, Jury, and Executioner.

This round is open from now until Friday, December 26th, 2008 at 11:59PM

Let's Get Celebrating!
